I've been useing this utility flawlessly for a heck of a long time now, so it surprised the heck out of me when this issue arose. I noticed that one of my mods (which was enabled prior with no issues) seems to disable itself when I exit JSGME. The mod is Vicker's Different Smoke for Merchants and Warships. I use the version for RFB. The short of it is, the mod was working fine when initially enabled. I disabled the mod when I enabled the latest RSRD. I always disable mods in order. I'll disable five mods, to get to the mod I want. This always worked with no probs. Anyhow, after enableing the different smoke mod, and not seeing it in the game, I became suspicious and opened the JSGME interface. It was here I noticed the mod "disabled" itself. Again I enabled, closed the utility and opened it again to find the mod disabled once again. This is baffeling to say the least. Any clues? Thanks.

its likely just mod soup
first uninstall all mods then to get rid of the corrupted jsgme backup files open sh4 main folder and open the "MODS" folder move each mod folder to your desktop one at a time do not do a move all or the corruption moves too when your done delete the entire "MODS" folder run jsgme to create a new mods folder then move your mods back into it reinstall your mods if that doesnt do it then your game itself is corrupted and you need to reinstall it |
