Default Mod that eliminates japanese ASDIC

Greetings, fellow captains. Not that I'm trying to make the game easier, but I just dig historical accuracy. So it drives me crazy when I hear ASDIC sound coming from japanese ships. Sure, it's typical for anti submarine warfare, but come on, if I want that, I play as german. But I got sidetracked, so my question is this: does any mod eliminate japanese ASDIC, or is it just impossible?

Are you running mods? I have to disagree that it's inaccurate for IJN to have active sonar.

The Japanese had active sonar from the start. Certain DD's and escorts in RSRD dont have it in early war, they get it later.USS Plunger encountered a DD off Kii Suido in December 1941 and underwent an intense depth charging, they were surprised when the DD began pinging them.

This is from Wikipedia but have read it in other sources, believe it was Richard O Kane who mentioned Plunger and Commander David White and this incident in either his book about Wahoo or Tang.

"Shortly after White arrived on station, Plunger was seen by a Japanese destroyer which came on using powerful echo-ranging sonar—or "pinging." Hearing the pinging was a jolt. The submarine force had not known for certain, until now, that the Japanese had such gear. The Japanese not only had it, they knew how to use it. The destroyer found Plunger and unleashed twenty-four close depth charges. It was a vicious, determined attack, the first for both the hunter and the hunted in Empire waters. It jarred the boat and crew severely. White was thankful that he had put back into Pearl Harbor to repair the weakness in the hull. Had he not, Plunger might not have survived."

Read about the S-39 being pinged during her patrol in December 41/January 42 and countless others, Japanese did have echo ranging etc. Read since they were allies in WW I, Brits shared ASDIC technology and they improved upon it.Was it as good as the allies? no but did it work? yes.Especially in later war. They also had German equipment in mid and late war or equipment based off german design.
