Default Let me ask why: MANY questions, NO answers

hey folks.

i see all day new posts in this forum. and i really feel ashamed, to see so many of you participate in discussing so passioned about this new game. CAUSE it is all for the dump. nothing is answered, what we are talking about here! nothing is considered. the devs seem to be working on other things right know, as the CEO of UBI already stated, there will be delays in publishing games of the Q1 2010. what means, they are focussing on other games right know.

this is an explaination, why we starve this lack of information. i feel kicked in the ass from UBI, that one has to search such infos for himself. they seem to be not interested any more in getting us involved in the process of this game. what the hell is going on? i think the dev-team itself would be pleased to twitter us some news every few days. so why are they not allowed to? why do they let us sit here in the dark, greedy like hungry wolves.

for us, as one of the most passioned communities of the world, this is not acceptable.

anyone joins?

Let them do their job, I do not judge a game on pictures, videos before a release. If Ubisoft gives more information it's ok but I can life also without them and that's very peaceful I make my decision to buy SH5 or not after the release.

SH4 was also announced in August and only at mid-December there were other trailers released. There is nothing unusual in this behavior. I bet around Dez. 15 we see more stuff

My guess, they are too busy working on the game, especially now that 'crunch time' will now be upon them,
I reckon when the Ubi devs finnish work (probabaly late at night from overtime) the last thing they feel like is to come here to get interogated.

Having the devs log in to SS to answer our questions is a privalege, not a right.

yeah, face it every time they give something away, we get a dozen posts of negative scrutiny, along the lines of:

'bla bla bla, extremely worrying bla bla bla Im rather concered".....(and it ususally ends with): Bla bla bla "I think i will wait until it has been out for a year before I buy SHV".

Not exactly encouraging them now, is it?

The Devs don't owe anybody here anything. They work for Ubisoft. As a courtesy, and because they have formed some friendships here, some of them choose to be members here.

Ubisoft decides what information is released prior to the release of their games, not their Devs. If Dan or Mihai were to say too much here, their jobs could be on the line.

The OP should take some of his pink pills and wait for Ubisoft authorized press releases like the rest of us.

Public Relations?
Why UBI should issue a new SH5 movie or answer questions if 80% fans said publicly that they buy the game in 1 day sale?
Huh?

The more time they waste in creating pretty screenshots and teaser videos, the less time they're actually doing real work on the game.

Ubi owes you nothing. It is what it is, the game will be out when it's out and we'll all have plenty of time at that point to dissect it, evaluate it and critique it. Its pointless to opine on a half finished product anyway.

People are so darn impatient anymore.

Dunno why all the fuzz.

You all know that eventually you are going to buy the game anyways.

@urfisch

I perfectly understand why you're getting impatient to see/know something more concrete, but JU_88 and mookiemookie got some very good arguments.

Only hope that Seeadler made a good guess so we could have something new before Christmas...

I agree.
Though I guess impatience grows because Ubi has decided not to publish any SH5 dev diary video, whereas there were some for SH4.

Maybe people start to like to hear about the development of their upcoming favourite game through this kind of video.
