I think Japan experienced the largest storm since the flood. Constant blind thunderstorms. I spent about 12 days of my patrol going from Tokyo to Okinawa and back again only to find that the storm would not give up. Any ideas on how to adjust or fix this?

I see you've run into the following storms of SH4. No matter where you go, there it is.

Where are they??? I WANT a storm like that: it's fleet boat heaven! Does weather reset let you roll up a storm if it's clear?

No it doesn't. It brings up a set weather system of Partly cloudy skies, wind out of the north at 0 and excellent visibility.

perhaps a typhoon moving in same direction? Read about typhoons in different sub books, where they spent days fighting, some were just bad storm systems, not even typhoons.I agree it is a pain to get stuck in a storm system like that.I do not do the cntrl n thing though, i just ride it out.

I've used it once. It didn't matter what direction I went, there was the storm. I find a storm with a diameter of >150nm and to stick around for more than a week to be a bit unrealistic.

Yes, the long-lasting storms can be a bit of an irritation. I wasn't aware of the Ctrl-N thing though. I just ride them out for the most part although it does test one's patience after four or five 'days' LOL. Can you imagine if the TC didn't go beyond 1024, LMAO. AAAAAAAARGGHH!!

The best time to go hunting is in the nasty stuff! I dread the flat and clear days, thats when the airplanes come and the yo-yo action starts!
