free dds-tga converter ?

hello,

does anyone can suggest me a good and free dds-tga converter ?
i am using at the moment a converter called 'dds converter v21' but i am searching for something better (if there is...)

Save images as png, jpg, bmp, tga, dds (even ati1n/3dc+ compression)

there's also a free plugin for Photoshop though PS is not free...

btw SH3 doesn't use dds, shouldn't this be in the sh4 area...?
maybe you'll get more answers. just a thought...

@Dcb: this converter is very good !
@Conus:for some reason that i can't figure out (using the converter you suggested) when i clic the convert button....nothing is happening !!
@Carotio:i will tell you a secret ! (the same persons are visiting both sh3 and sh4 sections) ...

Hi Makman,

Try this: http://www.paint.net/

I use this Paint-Programm allways, with this Program you can create any images and than save your image as xxxxx.dds ( DXT1, DXT3, DXT5 Compression) and this Programm its Freeware, you need installed Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1

thank you very much Nautilus ! this is exactly what i wanted !!

i feel a little bit idiot becuase this is the graphical programm i am tottaly using and never looked if it handles .dds formats !
