Welcome to the forum, and no, you can't navigate by waypoints in DW.

I thought you could.... right click ownship at the Nav station, select "Navigate by Waypoints" or something to that effect.

Yes it's possible.
Also pressing "insert". Then, by double clicking on each point is possible to edit the waipoints (speed and depth). Our sub/ship/plane/helo will follow this instructions only if we don't change our spedd, course or depth/altitude manually; in this case I think our platform won't follow the WP.
