Default Note on Dragon Age pricing

Check your prices! Seems like the pre-orders vary quite a bit. Apparently for the US, Steam is cheaper than D2D, and it's the other way around for Europe.

For example, I can order the normal edition boxed pre-order for €40,-. It costs €50,- on Steam and €55,- for Digital Deluxe edition. On D2D, I pay ~€43,- for the DD edition.

Maybe wait a week if you're planning on pre-ordering, prices are a bit fishy at the moment.

As an update on this, it seems that content varies with regions, hence the price difference. UK doesn't get the tin case and cloth map with the boxed special edition for example, and some in-game content is cut as well (both boxed and digital) due to some deal with a retailer that wanted that content as an exclusive (kinda like the deals they keep making with Gamestop in US).

Long story short, keep your eyes open and compare editions that are available to you. Different stores have different unique items to offer and content may vary, with prices reflecting content (kinda ).

EDIT: G*****N EA AND THEIR MARKETING BS!!!
Just when I started to relax my opinion on them and switched to Activision for the much needed hate, they pull more crap like this.

Sorry, but it has to be said.

Here in Blighty (The UK), Dragon Age is available for pre-order on Amazon at £24.99. But when it released and its cheaper than the advertised price, you get a discount

One slight downside is the recent and current 3 day national postal strike
