Need your help with video card decision within 8 hours!!

Ill make it short: I have a old computer, decent, 2.3gig processor AMD XP 2800+, 1.5GB mem.......

should i get a:

1. GeForce 6200 256MB AGP Graphics Card

2. GeForce FX 5200 Ultra AGP Graphics Card

I guess it depends on what you are using it for, but to just pick one I'd say the 6200.

I would get neither of them, both of them are mainstream cards and are no good if you want to use them for gaming
if due your system or budget I would look something like a 6600-6800GT

making the question short is nice, but a bit more details would be nice
like why the 5200 or 6200
and what for do you want to use them for.

its basically due to budget and im getting a new computer here in about 3 months and this is to hold me over..

Check out EVGA's B stock, I got my 2nd 6800 GT there for $50.

I would go with the 6200 for sure then. I don't think the 5200 would cut it. My 128MB 6800 GT barely does SH4, to my standards.

I ran the 6200 with 2 gig RAM and 3200+ CPU....I then ran to the store and purchased a 7800GS. The 6200 was beyond slow for SH4.

My god, they still sell those hunks of crap.

Id say nither of them... both will give you S*** FPS in sh4, and not great in sh3...

They will do fine with SH3. I played SH3 a lot with my 6200. SH4? Forget about it!
