Default change parascopes height

Is there any way to change the parascopes height? Say from 10 feet to 20 feet high. Im sure I read it a while back here, but I just spent the last 30 mins searching with every combination of parascope/height/mod/raise/lower/edit that you can think of.

I don't know about any mods, but if you want to change your periscope height, change your keel depth. Depending on the class of submarine, between 45 and 50 ft should raise your periscope enough to be unimpaired buy the wave action.

You just use the farthest right dial on the bottom. That is your depth dial. You can set any depth you want.

oh i thought you guys were talking about changing the actual height of the keel, im trying to change the height of the parascope/move it up because even when its as high as it can go, it hasn't cleared the top of the conning tower

Default Periscope depth and type

DrBackJack;
are you using the Attack Scope or the Observation Scope? It's been noted that the Observation Scope does not rise to the same height as the Attack Scope so you have to bring the sub up a bit more than usual otherwise you're view will be obscured by the water.
The red line on your depth gauge is periscope depth but that is for the Attack Scope not the Observation Scope ('O' key to activate the Observation Scope, if memory serves).

Having said that, if you are in less than calm seas your periscope view regardless of which one you are using, will be obscured by wave action etc. The only way around that is to bring the sub up a bit so your scope clears the waves. Be warned; if you do that your conning tower may breach the surface if the seas are rough enough.

That would be a problem. Unusual. Are you sure you're raising it all the way up? Can you post a screenshot?
