I just installed SHIII on a bootcamp XP parttion using a Macbook Pro, works great except for some of the key bindings and I need help.
Here is my setup: SHIII patched to 1.4b, GWX 2.0 installed along with SH Commander. Pressing F1 brings up help and it states Numpad (+) for time compression increase and (-) for decrease ut idont have those keys on my keyboard. I have tried editing them for -&= but it is not working. Anybody know the correct syntax to enter? I also want to change how I auto raise and lower the periscope to the Control key & U for UP and Control Key & D for auto down. Thanks

...get setkeys! available from the general download section. It's a program used to change hotkeys. I'm playing on a macbook myself and am quite okay with the keys actually. Attack Periscope up is fn+up for me (hold shift to raise fully) Observation periscope up is fn+enter, down is fn+backspace. But I'm playing on a german keyboard!
Time compression also works: TC UP is fn+ö (find your corresponding key that has the numpad function when fn is pressed), TC DOWN is fn+- Use your fn key on the lower left is the gerenal advice i can give you! |

I have a MacBook 15" Pro, with BootCamp. SH3 runs fantastic with all kind of supermods.
I don't use the + and - for TC, just click with my mouse and normally I don't go higher than 128 TC. You can use an external USB keypad if you want. ![]() Find help at BootCamp (the square grey box at the bottom right Windows XP), right click on Boot Camp and choose Boot Camp help. Type in for example: "keyboard", you will see all sort of commands. Print Screen = Fn+Shift+F11 Print Screen during game = Fn+Ctrl+Alt+F11 |
