Default Bad behavior? Blame the Internet

Quote:
The Internet, with its Twitter and Facebook and Craigslist, et al, is destroying society; surely you’ve heard. Even before Civility’s lonesome death at the hands of three completely unrelated incidents, various surveys and studies of specious methodology “proved” that our increasing time in cyberspace is making us stupid, porn-addicted, socially isolated, anonymous sexting bullies with Attention Deficit Disorder.

I blame bad parenting.

I blame bad taste.

Spending time on the internet doesn't cause people to go retarded, spending all that time trawling YouTube, among other things, does.

I honestly don't know what that picture is about. I kinda know "dramatic gopher" because SouthPark referenced it in an episode. I'm proud to say I'm completely unfamiliar with the other memes (are they?) referenced on that picture.

The title is DUMB. No offense it's just honest opinion

it's like saying blame the education institution for crimes.
Or blame guns for war,
Or blame DARPA for the internet negative effect on society.
The list goes on and on and on

Ummm....

You know all the bad things in the world would have not happened any longer if humankind were to extinct...
So there you go you can blame each one of us and the whole humankind race.
Or easier that stupid ape that decided to walk straight instead. Who the hell it thought it was anyway? Should have conformed to nature instead!!!

Total BS. I am not addicted to porn, I can quit any time I want. Why once I went 3 days 14 hours and 16 minutes without looking at porn!

Kids these days get symptoms if they are separated from computers and internet. It's not a joke, even in the Finnish military the kids all have their laptops with them and get internet breaks etc. Wat a joke.

Actually I'm not sure if they get specific breaks for the internet, might be that they just have their laptops there and that they are allowed to use them when there isn't service.

Most of them are pretty fat anyway, they can't even run in the basic training period. They make them do . Looks really lame.

edit. What happens when that fatty get injured? Who's gonna carry him? Fug dat sheet, not me.

Truthfully, I think that the internet has contributed to some minor forms of societal degredation. Politeness, for example, is in decline. With the anonymity of internet, one is able to act in a way that they would not act if face-to-face with a person. I think that the SH5 forum will be a perfect example of that. It is very quiet now, but once the game is released, the rabid crowd of axe grinders will appear in force, acting in a manner most unbefitting to real-life society. It is inevitable that such behavior would eventually extend itself to real life.
