Daring Raid by U-46 makes History!

Berlin times Dec 9th 1939

A daring raid was conducted today on the English port of Scapa Flow. But this was no ordinary harbor raid! U-47 snuck into the shoals on the backside of Scapa Flow and hit several targets with its deck gun firing over two miles of land! Accuracy was minimum with the town blocking the view of the ships but several fires burning could be spotted by the smoke in the night sky from the harbor. Another slap in the face for Churchills boys as the Unterseabootwaffe strikes again!
