Default Need Help zipping / uploading New Crew Uniform Mod to forum download thread and BTS

This will be my first attempt at uploading a mod to Subsim / BTS, so any help would be appreciated.

FYI: I'm officially waiting for permission from Mikhayl / Asanovic7 to post this, but here's the readme and a few pictures from a test patrol on a TB-1937 using Chinese U-47's awesome WSM 2.0 for GWX:

----------------------------------------

From the README:

--KM Blue Uniforms and Headdress for All Officers, NCOs & Enlisted Men--

--General--

Now we all respect / admire the gritty, eccentrically elite, breed-apart-reputation of U-boat crews and their preference for bucking regulation uniform dress code.

But for those of you who are currently commanding surface ships in the Regular Navy or if you’re just looking for a little more “spit and polish” in the look of your Kriegsmarine crew, I've extracted and tweaked the uniform and headdress files of Mikhayl / Asanovic7’s Playable S-Boot 1.7 crew to show a bit more adherence to code on board the bigger warships where attire was probably a bit more …how shall I say – “regimented.”

So, here’s what you get:

-All Crew uniforms (at least those I could edit) are now in Dark KM Blue.

-All Officers (those that are hard-coded to wear headdress) now wear the Peaked Cap (they used to wear the Forage Cap in Mikhayl’s old version). Some are hard-coded not to wear caps...not much I can do with that, BUT you can also sub those for Officers that do have caps by simply recruiting the ones in the Base Barracks that you see wearing them.

-About 50% of the NCOs and Enlisted men now wear the Dark KM Blue Forage Cap. The rest have no hats -- (I think this is hard-coded too.) You can try enabling Venetore’s "Compulsory U-Boat Headdress" through JSGME – but install over any conflicting files at your own risk – I don’t know, haven’t tried it.

-All Officers now wear the dark KM Blue ‘reefer' style battle jackets with requisite sleeve insignia (I don’t know if this insignia changes with rank promotion – you’ll have to ask Mikhayl / Asanovic7 about that).

-JSGME Ready

-GWX / Stock 1.4 compatible

--Installation--

Through JSGME (highly recommended): Unpack to the MODS folder in the main SHIII folder (Ubisoft / Silent Hunter III / MODS) and activate.

NOTE: this uniform mod is full “medals on crew” (if you want to enable the GWX "No Medals on Crew" mod and overwrite any conflicting files…again, it might work, but do so at your own risk.)

Finally, except for cutting and pasting a few TGA files, I take no credit for this mod – the talented Mikhayl, Asanovic7 and Boris did all the real work.

…now if we can just get someone to mod some “Kriegsmarine” Tally Caps and “Bluses” for the Enlisted men – that would be pretty cool...hmmm. Enjoy.

Thanks to: Mikhayl, asanovic7 and Boris -- I tip my hat to you all.
