Saw this video some time back. Its worth a look and unusual perspective to a derailment.

Pretty sure everyone was okay but the freight was battered pretty good.

For those of you with short attention span the action starts around 1:00 in. The sight of that tanker coasting towards the traction is enough to make your sphincter tighten.

That was pretty frightening.

The sounds those train cars make is something else! Just when you think it's over here comes the tanker and the rest of the cars for round two.

Well... that just goes to show how heavy the actual locomotive was... it didnt get sucked off...

But those hoppers got sucked off... wonder if they were empty...

It looks like it was hit about 3 cars back and it lifted the cars causing the wheel trucks to get out of wack. Notice the tanker doesn't have any wheels under the front.
