SH3 Commander question...

Where does SH3 commander get its info for the personnel file?

My U-boat commands section is always screwy.

It reads:

01AUG39 U-765, Type VIIb (4 patrols)

But it should read:

01AUG39 U-765, Type VIIb (3 patrols)
21JAN40 U-765, Type XIb (1 patrol)

I tried editing the HTML but guess what? As soon as I updated my Personnel File, the corrections poofed. So back to my question.. where exactly does it draw its info from?

I am sure I did something to cause this issue.

Thanx in advance.

The information is drawn from your Patrols and Careers save game files. SH3Cmdr trawls through each one to build your history.

The fact you have two different u-boat types with the same number in the same career suggests some user tinkering of these files. SH3Cmdr is fairly spot on when reading SH3 generated data, but all bets are off if the user intervenes.

Thank you Jscones!! I figured as much... I am still trying to figure what I did.

I used to have to have one patrol with a different uboat number (after upgrading) before I could change the number using SH3 commander. Recently somehow I was able to alter the number actually with commander before I left base in my new IXb. Its been cock eyed ever since. I have been checking the career and patrol logs to see if I can fix it but to no avail. I am not sure what lines to alter. I thought it might be uboat type=1 or 2 (1=type VII and 2= type IXb???)

Anyways since this is my biggest issue with my game then I guess I am really not bad off.
