Well I finally got SH3 !.4 And GWX 3 to install on Vista. I think the GWX crew should have done something with the TC. I still get 1024 and it makes for A long game.

If you use SH3 Commander you can change the TC settings. Not sure whether that will install on Vista though, actually.

Using SH3 Commander will allow you to up the tc t0 as high as 8192....but you'd need an extremely powerful rig to cope with that.

Crossing the Atlintic in 5 minutes....not my cup of tea

Yeah I agree with this. I had real problems initially getting it to RUN though because of the starforce....no CD patch solved that though and you're away

For Vista users: just install SH3 Commander on another location outside of Program Files, check the run in XP SP2 compatibilty option & run as adminstrator and it should run fine.

Well I started my first Patrol out of Kiel And guess what, I found myself off the coast of south africa. How the hell can I get back to Keil in A type2A? Also Have A few Jerking motions and freeze ups when leaving base and a few times in between. Turnining periscope is also very slow. Did not have these problems with SH3 1.4
