Default Can we edit weather instances?

I love the game but I often get fog conditions about 50% of the time. I was hoping to change the percentage Fog occurs to about 10%. Is there a way i can edit a file for the game to make that happen?

Thanks

There is - sort of - but I only use it under certain conditions. If it is heavy, pouring rain and my watch crew on deck is not in rain gear something is wrong (usually happens to me after days and days of high TC ) .... so, while on the bridge station Ctrl + N resets the weather.

I don't mind 50 days of 'real' fog and foul weather but sometimes the game gets stuck out of sync. As I said above I only use this if it is obvious that the game is stuck.

A day or two after this reset ( that usually changes the sea state to calm with clear skies), the weather and sea return to 'normal'.

Hope this helps

I've played with a fog mod. I'm a new modder and not ready to put them out. Right now making snow and got that done, just got to work out the when and where.

It can be done. I've got heavy fog with no rain, light rain on a clouldy day with sun., ect.
