New user SH4:
When I go to sonar there's a "gadget" that appears. It is a square that gives a bearing and a heading. How do I clear it from the screen and why won't the sonar work when it's displayed??

That gadget is supposed to be there. When you are in the sonar room you must work the sonar yourself. Click on the sonar screen and you will see it sweep. you can also use the mouse wheel or the "home" and "end" keys.
If you find a target you will be able to here it and the green light will come on
and the gadget will show the bearing to target.
I have to click on the main screen and move the view up to see the green light.
