Poll results say Cowboys edge Patriots as NFL's most hated team

ESPN posed that question to fans in an unscientific question and the results revealed that the Dallas Cowboys are the most popular and most hated team in the league.

Thirty-six percent of respondent said that the Cowboys are the most despised team in the NFL. Following them were the Patriots (34%), Steelers (12%), Giants (9%) and Raiders (9%).

The flip side is the Cowboys have the biggest following, with 22% of poll respondents saying the Cowboys are the nation's favorite club. Following them were the Steelers (20%), Patriots (11%) and Raiders (9%).
Of course, the real winner was, literally, no one.

Thirty-seven percent of respondents said there is no real "America's team."

Just three more weeks till preseason ... hint, hint

MY favorite team is any team that beats the Cowboys..........

One reason the Cowboys are hated is because the get the majority of coverage. Smaller market teams get very little.

Though as a Panther fan, its sad when the most "hated" player on your team is the QB. Hate isn't the appropriate word - intense dislike due to inability to play decently - is better.
