As I understand it one of the first 'rules' of running a buisness is to make wise decisions and then stand by them.

A House panel Tuesday night voted to require General Motors and Chrysler to restore franchise agreements with their dealers despite their dire financial condition

Yea they werent so ferverent on closing these dealerships once their constituants let them know how they feel.
