VIIC bridge compass glitch

Not sure if this is an old problem or not but I seem to be experiencing a weird compass glitch with the VIIC's. The compass dial appears to be sticking part of the way out of the instrument's housing. Sorry but I can't post a screen shot as the game is on another machine that isn't connected to the Internet. The problem doesn't occur on the VIIB or any other type. It's not a game killer issue but it is a bit irritating. What's even stranger is that sometimes the problem corrects itself somehow. I am using GWX 3 Gold.
