because thats what I'm getting continuously. When I tell my Engineers "ALL STOP"..The top gauge reads "STOP" but the gauge below continues to read 2 knots (OLC GUI) and I continue on my way. Very frustrating when this happens for obvious reasons. Not unless I pull all my engineers out of there stations and put them to rest does the boat/engines actually come to a complete stop.
And once I put the engineers back into there stations AGAIN I accelerate to 2knots when the top gauge is reading "ALL STOP". Anyone know why? Thanks!

Give it time. I get a total stop at 0 knots. Maybe you have a tail wind.

All stop is not the same as putting on the brakes in a car. Your motion will continue until all the speed drops off and you are gently drifting with the current.

So, does it eventually stop, or does it keep going, and going...

It will stop faster if you select slow astern/forward depending on which way you are going.

Well I thought about the whole drifting equation and how your boat will stay in a forward motion for a bit after you go to ALL STOP ( i own a 26ft Sea Ray) . BUT when I actually call for all stop as posted above..The top gauge reads "STOP" but the gauge below continues to read 2 knots (OLC GUI) and I continue on my way. Not unless I pull all my engineers out of there stations and put them to rest does the boat/engines actually come to a complete stop. And show ZERO KNOTS on the bottom gauge. But once I put the engineers back into there stations AGAIN I accelerate to 2knots (bottom gauge) when the top gauge is reading "ALL STOP". So the answer to your question is NO the boat never stops.

![]() ![]() Everything works fine now. I rebooted and restarted the game and all is fine. I decided to reboot when I also noticed that I was not carrying a single HE. Something funny happened. Maybe I found the other end of the Bermuda Triangle. ![]() Anyways..all fine now. Thanks .

I was going to post that I certainly do stop with a fully crewed engine room but looks like you've got it sorted.
