Default Time compression

Whenever I go over say 512 in time compression the chronometer pops up. Anywhere to turn that off?

X also turns it on anytime you want.

Default Stuck with it

As mentioned, 'X' key toggles it off/on. Not sure why it pops up after 512 time compression. I think it was yet another oversight by the devs and was never fixed as I just don't see the logic of why it would pop up in the first place.

I guess there isn't a mod for it as it's been there still through the various TMOs, RFBs etc. I've gotten into the habit of just hitting the 'X' key when time compressing. A very minor inconvenience.

it does that as an easier way to keep track of how fast time is going by so you can turn it off at the right time when your zipping forward a day or two so you dont have to watch the little time box.

i think 99% of people dont have any use for that feature but i guess it can be of some use to you if you want it.
