I installed on my SH4:
1_TriggerMaru_Overhaul_2-5 RSRDC_SH15_V550 RSRDC_V5xx_Patch1 I started a career and was assigned to patrol Lingaym Gulf, 50nm from center for 72 hours. Went there, set up a pattern within the 50nm, set to 2/3 ahead, set the watch, then dilated the time... After many hours the time automatcily went back to 1 with announcement that we were taking damage and under attack. "Report nearest Warship" - sweeping, no sound "Report nearest visual" - nothing... I go topside and scan... I see smoke on the horizon at about 200. Look through the binocs and I see ship, and it is lobbing shells at us. Again, I ask for reports... nothing on sonar, nothing on visual... nothing.... I can see it, but no one else can. So, I pop the camera and run over to be sure... yes a Jap destroyer can see me and hit me. Why can't my crew see them? (If this has been addressed in another thread, please point me to that.) Thank-you

Do they see ships when you start your career?

Answer: yes, they report contact, friendly ships when we are leaving port.

I once made a mission and added a few ai ships from the list, played the game and i got attacked and my crew was not responding.
No message, no contact report and no visual contact. I first thought this was my crew but it appeared to be a bug because when i changed the ship and tried it again they reported the contact. Also i hope your crew is not tired or anything? Going on silent running and make time go faster = a disabled crew

With TMO the enemy has great visuals from long range and can shoot from 10,000 yards if they see you. The failure, when he increased enemy visual and shooting range in later versions of TMO, he didn't adjust the sub visuals to be fair. You in fact can adjust your subs crew visuals, I did it to where they could see ships on the horizon. The only failure was this, because of TMO's auto ID, you could lock on and ID ships you couldn't make out, cept a funnel and smoke.
Been forever since I've played and messed with files, but I may have what settings I adjusted. Seems it was the Sub AI files in Library...

My game rig blew up over a year ago and never fixed it, just use my chrome book and my mind these days just guessing. I'll try to load files off the net from TMO to my sons pc and see if i can make a small mod soon if no one can help..
