Question regarding 2nd flotilla and base change GWX 3.0

I'm using SH3 Commander and GWX 3.0 with the alternative flotillas mod enabled. It's July/August 1940 and I thought the base would switch over from Wilhelmshaven to Brest. Is there something wrong or is it just me wanting to be closer to the Atlantic sooner than I should?

When I docked at one of the milk cows I didn't exit out of SH3 like I usually do before I continued the next patrol for SH3 Commander to do its thing. I read it somewhere on these forums to do that. Because of this one time occurance the briefing shows everything a month behind then what it should now (i.e. June events in July). Could this effect how soon I transfer to Brest and is there any way to change it back to normal? I'd rather not restart my career over since I've had to do it once before due to getting a new computer.

EDIT: I've searched through and I haven't really found anything extremely specific. To me my main concern is with the game possibly lagging behind due to me not exiting after that docking at the milk cow. :/ I don't want my transfer to be delayed!
