Who will Obama nominate for Supreme Court Justice to replace David Souter?

Obama is not going to rattle the PUMA cages more by going for another male on the supreme court.

Gay? A possibility because there is enough time for people to get to know before 2012 but its risky and I dont expect Obama to take risks.

I chose a hispanic female, although a black male isn't out of the question.

As an aside, isn't it sick how someone's gender and heritage seems at least equally (if not more) important than their qualifications in this matter?

I believe he will select an openly gay individual. He needs the gay vote in 4 years. He lost those in the past election and specifically in CA. After all, he did believe marriage was between a man and a women(by definition). That did not bode well in the gay community. Good thing he was not up for the Miss America Competition

By George, your right. Last I heard he was not getting much support from the gay community. No matter, I still believe the selection will be a gay individual.
