Double icon?

Any suggestions on what might be causing this, fellow submariners? None of my mods are changing the external icon that I know of... plus it only happens sometimes - not a consistent problem.

In a previous install I was using a custom icon - would going back to the custom icon cure this double vision?

I wonder if these one of these icons is directly above the other. They appear displaced due to the look angle.

Is one icon giving your position projected on the surface and the other giving your position at depth?

I have never used the external camera though.

The only camera I use is the event camera and that is just because I think it is soooo cool to see my torpedo run and watch the rusty hull loom into vision.

From a realism point of view I should not use the event camera, but it is just that cool for me

I have never used the external camera primarily because it seems to be very unrealistic and gives information to me that is not "appropriate" to the simulation.

However, I will never look down on anyone who uses this function. Your game is your game.

One icon is positioned normally above the sub... the other (2cd one) just goes with the view and moves all around. Quite often it is high in the sky...

That double icon is some sort of graphical bug I used to see it with 1.5 stock as well from time to time.

It was in my GFO install... I guess that counts as a semi-stock 1.5 version.
