Some Uber newbie questions

Hi All
Im new to this forum and am looking for some cool mods that allow me to play as the germans and or the Japanese

I have sh4 with U boat missions installed.(i can uninstall u boat missions if some of ur mods dont work with it) and am looking for some cool Japanese and German Campaighn mods

yes there are threads on them here but im looking for some suggestions about which mods to get

PS: also are the playable ship mods fun?

For the german side I would recommend the Operation Monsun

some playable mods are done better than others and its a very personal choice as to which ones you have the most fun with so it depends on what your looking for in them and only trying them out will give you those answers.

the german and japan campaigns dont have many choices so theres lurkers op monsun for the german side and peabody's japanese campaign mod (still a work in progress) and the IJN playable sub mods
