I have installed the GWX mod and would like to know if its possible to reinstate the percentage indicator for the hull damage

Anything is possible.

SHCommander is the answer.

It goe's with GWX like peanut butter goe's with jelly.

Yes, use the option in CH3 CMDR as noted above.
