Adding Commander abilities on the American Side?

OK I did a search of these forums and all knowing google and couldnt find anything dealing with what Im wondering

Is there a mod or a way to give American sub captains abilities like those of the german campaign?

I cant imagine this would be a real difficult prospect so Im sure its been done, but then I dont know much about modding so I could way off and itd require a huge effort

So just wondering if there is such a mod if someone could point me in it's general direction

¿? But the american side has special abilities, not at the beginning as the germans but once they have been in combat for a while they gain the same traits as the germans. If you want to give them special abilities right away then the easiest (and safest) way is to mod your saved games. Take a look at them and you will find every single member of your crew listed there and if you look carefully you will see there is a field for special abilities. At the end of the file (I believe) there is a list of all the traits explaining each of them. You can also mode that if you want, like make permanent the abilities and not time limited.

Sorry, thought you wanted special abilities for your crew not for you... So you want to get the scout planes and all? Is that what you want?

Honestly I have no clue if that is possible or not, but I will look into it.
