Sub Speed

I recently reinstalled SH3 after a two year hiatus (actually, got new computer to play SH4 and only recently reinstalled SH3). I had previously modded the various speeds of my subs, but I have completely forgotten how I did it before. I tried changing the values in the subs' .cfg files, but that doesn't seem to have worked. I think I changed the drag coefficients for the subs, but I can't find the right files to mod. Anyone have an idea where I can look? I appreciate it...

Currently running SH3 1.4b, with GWX 3.0 mod installed.

Welcome to the forum Cykko! To modify the speed of the boats I recommend you use Skwasjers Silent Editor (http://sh4.skwas.net/) which is also suitable for SH3. To modifiy the speed of the Type VIIC for example open the file "NSS_Uboat7c.sim" which is located here: "\data\Submarine\NSS_Uboat7c". Look for the node "unit_Submarine". There you find values for the propulsion of the diesels and the electric engines which you need to modify to speed your boat up.

download this download that .....how about just changing the Basic file so as when you update the engines you can go as fast as you want..

works for me maybe thats why my Basic file on my download page is haveing so many hits
