Such mails should never be answered. With your answer you just confirm that you read the stuff they send you and that the address they have is valid. Even if they can't play their tricks on you they can now sell your email address to people who will flood you with spam (hey, they have proof that you will read the BS from them).

I reply to them all the time. The more time you make the spammers waste, the less time they have trapping other people.
