Two things.... anyone notice the date?

Also when I read this I nearly needed a head call myself...

I did notice the date,64 years ago today.

And that is a helluva name for a CO who lost his boat due to a malfunctioning head!

hah yah...that 'day in technology' piece that Wired Magazine does is pretty cool. I thought you guys might enjoy that. April 14th, 1945 seemed like it happened pretty late in the war. Forgive my naivety but when did uboats operate until?
