[TEC] editing rdn and scr files

Is there a software that can easily manage the .rdn and .scr files? I know that with editor you can do a lot of things and that I can open the file with note pad, but I'm looking for a software that can change a ship with another.
With the editor takes too much time and with notepad the problem is the renumbering of [group] and [unit]. Also I need something with a "search ship" function. For example I would like to find all the DD in a .scr and change them with CL.
Can any modder help me?
