Lan party question ?

Tried to post on multiplayer forum .

4 friends are going to bring their rigs over this weekend and we want to play SH-GWX together.

How do's a Lan party work and what are the rules if any ?

Hope I'm makeing sense.

You will need a pc switch and lots of beer..

Oh.. You can buy a beer already legally don't you ?

I checked out the link and it answered alot of questions.

I think with careful planning I can pull this off.
