Default Japanese shipping lanes?

I have seen several references to these mysterious shipping lanes, but have had no luck in finding them.

Is there a map that shows the historical shipping lanes?

Thanks.

In 1944 you have convoys passing east of luzon. Luzon strait is a very good place to find convoys of all kinds and sizes. You can also try north of Taiwan or near Japan, but the anti-sub defenses here are stronger.
Earlier in the war, you can also find convoys between Rabaul and the Solomon Islands.

The Makassar Strait (between Borneo and Celebes) is a gold mine. It's difficult to stay on station very long there because you run out of torpedoes in days shooting up all the juicy targets.

Running RSRDC, currently in spring 1943.

There are many pull-downs in GWX3, so I don't see why the same thing couldn't be applied to SH4. That said, it's a real map of real convoy routes, so I don't know for sure if any of the mods actually match up. RSRD might, though.

Yea, if your using TMO, check out Captain America's "Hud for TMO", besides adding some great looking buttons, it includes a pulldown map showing the shipping routes. Highly recommended.
