quest about ship cfg

hi all
i want to ask if speed and unittype are written in some of the others files inside ship folder ex val,zon,sim etc. Am asking cause if i change unit type from 100 to 102 (also from roster) i have ctd

You need to edit the unit type in both data\sea and data\roster\sea. Also, if you edit certain ship types and fail to set the deck cargo to -1 (NULL), they will crash the game. I think speed is in the sim file - you should use S3ditor to adjust it. If you only adjust the listed speed in the cfg file it won't do anything.
