Ihave have read the MoBo pdf download. I need help getting started. Can someone point me in the right direction, as I need to learn the basic. Reading the manual is a little too abstract, but I am working my way through it.

I am new to MoBo also, and am truly impressed with what I see.
I found reading the manual can be fun as well as informative if you don't mind a bit of math. But for something less "abstract" have you tried the tutorials found in the sticky above this thread? The one titled "10th patrol..." might be to your liking. The one on the O'Keene method is not so abstract either. Good hunting. |

Easiest to just start with some simple intercepts. You don't even need to have the map scale correct for that.
Just capture a screen from the game map, pull it up in MoBo and plot your subs position/vector and the contact position/vector and then hover mouse over contact and press "I" to generate the intercept. Plot a node on the intercept point and press Spacebar-B while hovered over it to connect a line to your sub and display the bearing. |
