I doubt theres and way to resolve this problem but it cant hurt to ask...
Now try to restrain your laughter, but yes i do occasionally play games on a laptop with integrated gfx. Ive only recently installed sh3 on this new machine and noticed that the water surface reflections are all screwed up (see pic), the bug is worse where there are lots of objects to reflect like harbours etc, at sea especially from the bridge view its not that noticable. Obviously id like to fix this if possible or at least turn off reflections altogether (i actually quite like the look of the ocean without the cloud and sun reflections). The card is an intel 4500mhd, directx10 card with pixel shader version 4.0. This prob only seems to affect sh3, sh4 runs perfectly well with no such bug (which is wierd as it runs on the same engine!). ![]() And if your still laughing at my crappy integrated gfx card, let me just say this, it can run crysis in high settings in dx10 mode at 1280x800 at a solid 60fps. so there ![]() |

Yes Flakmonkey... I posted some screenies of the graphic glitch on my Toshiba Satt-pro, which also runs with a x3100 integrated graphics accelerator - Intel GM965. (thats 256mb shared laaddiees & genitalmen){sic}
Here's the link http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...22#post1018422 saves me "repasting" the screenies. See! it's the same vid reflection. I also get really bad 'flickering" in the dark, do u? It just gives me a friggin' headache after hrs of hunting. I put the SH3 on the Big plasma screen to try it out, same no change. Thinkin' it may have been the LCD screen. The DuoCore Centrino/ 2Gb DDR2 Dx10 WinXP runs the game, -Red-Rocket-Hot-.. ![]() Sail Safe. ![]()

hmm, maybe its just a problem with all integrated intel cards, i dont get any flickering though, apart from the reflections all being bunched up in one corner of the screen everything else is fine and framerate so far hasnt dipped below 40fps.
Just for comparisson my specs are: Core 2 duo t5800 (2*2GHz) 3Gb DDR2 ram Intel 4500MHD gfx 1.5GB (shared) 250Gb sata hard drive. |
