Default Periscope/Antenna damage

Hi,

Isn't suppose for periscopes/antennas get damaged if sub goes a bit under periscope depth?

On SH4 does such mod exists? Thanks

No. Why would they? The only thing that would damage them is a depth charge since they are out in the open ar getting hit by a ship.

Well, I think what he must be speaking of is, submerging below PS depth with them still raised and above a certain speed. For example: in modern subs, submerging with the radar mast raised will damage it at a low speed, the scope at yet a higher speed.

But to answer the question, I don't believe the WWII subs were capable of enough underwater speed to do damage. Anyway, I ASSUME this is correctly modeled in game.
