Default Forget about the planes, the frickin fishing boats are what bothers me

Playing 1.5+ RFB

I wish I had a dollar for every time I spent the time to get a great set up only to find that it is just a fishing boat

And since my AA gun is still in a bathtub I can't even us that to vent my rage.

Grrrrr

I've often wondered where the native fishing boats are. Not every little sampan or junk, dowd or dingy was under Japanese control. Seems like the vast majority of the small craft you see should be considered 'neutral' in some way. Especially in the Philippines and Indonesia.

The last Japanese Junks etc. I saw were in the Laperusr Straits. In very heavy weather and before I could get there they all sank.
Just saw some neutral ones today and they suffered the same fate.

Usually, I find that the speed they are clocked at is a good clue to what they are!!
It seems to always be around 4.50 knts, leastways all the ones I have come across are like that. I always go eyeball them first now.

The speed seems to be a good indicator. That and the sonar
