Toy Submarine

Ahoy Kaleuns, im in need of some help here:-

My 5 year old son regularly watches me playing SH3 has recently been asking to get him a toy submarine either a U Boat or modern boat, ive searched all over the net for something that will last a 5 year old boy but im mainly coming up with little yellow RC boats which is no good, he wants one that replicates a real boat.
Can anyone out there point me in the direction of a reasonable priced toy submarine on the internet or possibly in UK shops as I dont want to spend double the amount on postage from an overseas company?

honestly I can't recall a cheap U-Boat toy...or one that's kid-proof

does he like to model??? what about a 1/700??
