GWX problem - am i stupid?

hi, i patched my SH3 to 1.4b today and installed GWX3.0 Gold. game boted up fine and i can move through all the menu's no prob (kudos to the dev. team menus are real cool looking) started a new career in the black sea, but when i try to load a camnpaign patrol, or single mission the game will load till what looks like 95% percent then it freezes. the same problem occurs when i try to load the museum. i try to load anything and it goes well till the near end and then the load freezes (stops). this sucks for me. but i was hoping somebody else has had this problem, or knows how to solve it.

plz help

Welcome aboard,
I am not sure what the problem is; we really need more information re type of computer, operating system, cpu, ram, etc.
On some computers, it might take eight or ten minutes to load the game as it is about 5.5 GB. Even on some of the new super fast computers it may take several minutes to load.
Give it a go and report back.

ok, well here i are my PC spec's for starts. need to reinstall the game and GWX to try to finish the load.
Specs:
OS: XP 32bit (with Vista Inspirat mod)
CPU: AMD Athalon 64X2 5000+ (2.6GHz dual core)
RAM: 2GB
HDD: 250GB SATA 3.0
graphics card: nVidia 7900GS with 512mb memory (181.20 drivers)
i'll reinstall everything and try to start the thing up. go away for 10mins and see what happens.

How long does it freeze? Because the game can take a while to load

How much system meory do you have? I have 2 gigs and it still takes around 8-12 minutes to load with GWX 3.

i take back everything i said. i'm just an impatient person. loaded great. highly impressed so far. great work all you modders. one thing though...maybe it's me, but is the external camera a little more sluggish than in stock sh3?

does SH3Commander v3.2 need any patch files to work with GWX 3?

Yeah, it needs the GWX 3.0 cfg files. Just pop them into the SH3 commander folder.
