Default Obama supporter audio

From an Obama drone:
Voicemail Left at CitiBank About Delinquent Car Payment Lets Debt Collector Know What's What

Listen all the way to the end.

http://ace.mu.nu/archives/WEnotrich1.wav

This is the kind of ignorance that elected Obama. Some of these people are going to be so disappointed.

Another Obama thread. What a surprise.

Perahps we should have an Obama sub-section forum for the nuts from the left and right here who seek to glorify or demonize President Obama.

For the love of Subsim get it out of your system and be done with it.

Perhaps this Obama obsession only applies to US nationals...

Solution to Konovalov. Don't click on any links or participate in any thread with Obama in the title. Problem solved.

That is a great cover for Mad magazine. Sometimes they come up with good ones.

You know it wasent all that long ago we were barraged with "Bush Bash" threads.

Now evidently its Barry's turn.

Of course its a popular topic, his nomination represents a change... for better or worse.

I think people are just trying to peel the glossy veneer off the pop star image of the Big O and open some eyes.

Lets hope it gets better soon.

Obama will have his supporters and he will have his detractors. Eventually it will stop. It is like a new car, fun to drive until the payment book arrives and the new car smell is gone.

Although I did not vote for the guy, I do feel excited to see what he does. I posted in another thread here in GT. Obama is young, energetic, looks to be committed and has the drive to see things through. I think his best attribute at the moment is his ability to multitask and with some clarity. That is and will be very important as his plate is full. But, hey, when he goofs, I will be the first to take a poke at him.

One thing I noticed right away is he not caught up in the role and more a down to business type, just like his education taught him. How do they say it, we can only go up from here.

Heh, I think that's wishful thinking. Bush is still getting bashed, and he's out of office.

However, that being said, I can't say I agree with people who say they want Obama to find success. That's because Obama being successful means the nation taking up many leftist causes (higher taxes, socialized healthcare, etc). In no way to I want to see him be successful in those ideas.

What I DO want, however, is the NATION to be prosperous and successful under President Obama.

Quite frankly, though, I hope Obama fails miserably at many of his policy positions.

Agreed. I am really starting to favour the solution they have over at SimHQ, where the general topics area is pretty civil, you find plenty of opportunities to learn about other members, and all of the genuinely interesting topics don't get lost under a barrage of endlessly repetitious political posts.

Then, of course, the masochists who enjoy being subjected to this torture are welcome to log in and go to the 'current events' thread to do battle.

Bush will be bashed for at least 2 years. This is how long it will take before the new administration will stop using him as the excuse for failures. Obama will govern from the center. There will not be many leftist causes getting through because put simply, they will not work and or just two expensive, sometimes both. Higher taxes in today economic times is not the key to getting it back on track. I believe he realizes that. People are hurting so lets hurt them some more? Makes no sense, what needs to be done is getting money back to the people. Bailing out banks for not good reason is not the way. Billions have already been sent and we have seen nothing but the same in the markets if not worse. Healthcare is a tricky subject and will remain tricky. I do not see a socialized healthcare system coming. Just my own thoughts on it. Possibly his next term if he makes it and I suspect he will. Since his daily briefings before become the president, he has changed his tune on a lot of things only because he was enlightened with the actual facts. Bush, Pentagon, insiders have meetings on material you and I never see or hear about.

The key to eliminating repetitous political threads is NOT to post a reply. When we post in a bash Bush/Bash Obama/Bash USA/Global Warming thread, we just give it life and encourage the authors. (I'm guilty of this as much as the next guy).
