Default S boat revenge! And a question.

I decided to try out the old S-boat for a bit of a challange after playing with my new sim a few days. After leaving the Phillipines and heading off to patrol the phillipine sea I was expecting a normal un eventfull cruise. Just after sun down and only 100 miles from port my lookouts sight enemy vessals. Immediatly I dive to periscope depth and head in there direction and as luck would have it, they were heading in mine. I set up the intercept angle when all of the sudden they changed course and turned towards my Island port! Any chance of a perfect intercept was wasted so I swung my ol' S-boat around ninety degrees and fired off a long range salvo at the cruise ship in the center of this three ship treo. I was already at the targets 120 degree AOB and he was moving away rapidly with a range going on 2300! Seconds ticked by turning into minutes when 1 Torp hit his Aft section!
The other three went wide forward of the target. THe two destroyer escorts strarted firing star shells but had no idea where the attack came from so they stayed in formation spotlighting the water. Soon the crippled liner lost engine power and drifted to a stop. SO I put a torp into her mid section and simultaniously fired one at the stopped escort aft of her. I couldnt have timed it better as both torpedos struck there targets at the exact same second! The destroyer capsized and sank in a matter of seconds while the liner floundered a bit before succoming to her watery fate

I lined up a shot on the lead way off in the distance but as it was 100 yards off his starboard side he slammed his ship into overdrive and sped off!?

So the old post WW1 S-boat begins the long road to avenge Pearl Harbour! Great feeling redeeming the oldest boat in the fleet.

My question is how do you dock at port? I went into port after my succsessfull mission but it wouldnt offer me to dock like in SHIII.

Yes I was at the right dock (Tilted anchor)
Am I missing something? :hmm: The only options were to continue, Exit to main menu, Exit to windows.

I chose exit to main menu and it said mission failed

If you're leaving Manila, before the order to leave for Bataan, and the Decleration of her being an Open City, head up to the Lingayen Gulf. There the Japanese invasion force landed, in force on 22DEC41 and continued to use that as their main portage until The Rock fell in MAY42. That area is target rich, and every sunk supply ship or transport is that many more supplies and soldiers that will be used against the boys you left behind. Give them as much time as you can, sink, sink, and sink some more!
