Voice Files
Does anyone know whether voice files from one mod can be added to another easily?
I like the voices (ex Das Boot) from War ace campaign and would like to add them to GWX 3.0 if possible. Thanks to those who produced GWX 3.0 and GUI Special for such superb work, but I feel the voices could be much enhanced if possible. Thanks Guys ![]() |

I don't see why not. I suggest you make the sound folder in your War Aces install into a JSGME form, and then install them via JSGME. If it screws things up, then just uninstall them via JSGME.

in my experience on and off as it is with SH3 yes you can
ive tweaked thompsons mod with other sounds i like and it works fine, use jsgm to undo any mistakes, the modders friend for sure.... although i havnt played out the sim in a big way be aware of the .sml file is it? it can conflict with other mods which include sounds but its resonably straight forward to merge those files from memory using note pad? hope this helps no doubt some one with more comprehensive knowledge may show up....

Hi Guys
Thanks for your replies, and I copied the sound files from WAC into the sound folder (with language_en) and you get the best of both worlds! Cheers ![]() |
