Captains Abilities

Hi Mates, I tried to search for the answer but couldn't find out anything. Sorry if this has been aswered before.

Under Captains Abilities in the Capts. log area, it says you can arrange for air recon every six hours. Is this done automatically or is there a icon or key that needs to be activated to get results? Thanks sunvalley.........

On the map you have airfields which are under friendly control, click them and assign the aircraft there a patrol area.

What I want to know is if you can unlock these abilities in a US Campaign.

No you cant , but for the U-boat captain you can also do cool stuff like controling carrier groups , aux cruisers , pocket bbs , japanese heavy cruiser task forces and bb task forces once you attain the proper rank. (Or alter your save files

)

I've only played US campaigns thus far.. Stock 1.5, RBF and now TMO...

The Captain's Abilities page has always been blank for me.

I stumbled across this post because I wanted to search "Captain's Abilities" before I just made a new post and asked:

Why don't I ever see anything on this page?

Yea this stuff only works with the Uboat campaigns evidently.

Personally Ive never messed with it.
