Okay, now I think the admiral is really just trying to get me killed.

He sends me out on this patrol mission. Good deal, it's great to feel the fresh sea air on my face again at night. The patrol is a success.

We radio in and get new coordinates for another mission. It's a war, not a pleasure cruise so we don't complain and do our bit. The mission is a success.

Running low on fish now so we head to the nearest port and fill up on fuel, food and fish and back out we go again on another mission.

A mission in side an enemy port to take some pictures, then another patrol mission, another enemy port picture mission, and another patrol, another patrol, another patrol.

After the 8th mission I said enough was enough and turned back for the home port. If my admiral was going to send my men out on another mission he was going to have to do it face to face !!

Well... seems it was a surprise party. They had us out on all these missions because when we returned they had this new Balao class sub waiting for my command when I got back.

Can you believe that?

I didn't even get a chance to have a fit at the admiral because he's standing at the dock with all the brass and the band and all the men's wives and girlfriends flown in from everywhere and there sits our new girl floating at the dock waiting for us.

Damn the admiral !!

Contratulations, Captain McHub. Looks like you're ready for Real Fleet Boat! You can continue your career in Real Fleet Boat as long as you load the game up in port and then cruise out for your next cruise.

Enjoy that new Balao! It's the best sub of the war for any country. Nothing else even comes close. You're a one-man navy now!

You will get new tasks as long as you have torpedoes. If you resupply in a harbour you have torpedoes again and therefore you get new tasks. You will never get an order to return to port (maybe you will at the end of the war but not in the middle of it). Just head back when you are low on fuel or torpedoes and end the patrol (I think that's the most realistic way).
