Hello All,
Out of the many hours spent playing Silent Hunter III, I never really bothered to upgrade my U-Boat while in campaign (that is say a VIIB to a VIIC, or something like that). Well, I was thinking about starting a new campaign, in which I have plans to upgrade to a different make of the type IX, but I wanted to know first, when you upgrade, presumably your U-Boat number changes, and some of your crew transfers, right? Just wondering. Thanks |

Nope, your crew stays the same, changing subs will not change crew or number whatsoever. I believe that stock SH3 doesn't remove engine upgrades, hydrophones etc. But most if not all of the super-mods do.

Nope, unless you're using SH3 commander. Otherwise you keep your crew and U-boat number (Which never made sense to me... You'd figure Ubisoft would've noticed that little bit)
Edit: Supermarket beat me to it...
