Fleet Command crashes

Hi guys,

Downloaded Fleet Command from Steam and ran the game without problems. Then I found the NWP mod and uninstalled the game to start with clean installation and downloaded it again from Steam. Now when I try to launch the game it crashes to desktop after I press play button from Fleet Command launcher. This happens with NWP mod installed and without it.

Computer:
C2D E8600
4gb ram
Ati 8070 1gb
Vista 64bit

I know that with the NWP mod put in, you have to run NWP missions and not the original missions that came with Fleet Command.

I don't know if that's a help or not.

I would say try reinstalling.

So it seems the problems comes from Steam.
May be you uninstalled it the wrong way and then reinstalling doesn't work ?

I tried to reinstall both steam and fleet command without any help. After that I restored my system settings back to the day I installed FC first time and now it works

Some years back when I first began playing NWP you were required to leave the FC game installed however you will need to remove the contents of certain folders and replace with the modified files from the NWP team.
